Not everyone in Red State America is matching in step with a quick reopening of their economies in the face of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Researchers are racing against time to produce medicines and vaccines against the virus and the COVID-19 disease, but they are still not sure of the origins of the virus, other than it appears to have emerged first in China.

The protests against the state stay-at-home orders which have been springing up across the United States over the last couple of weeks will have the perverse effect of forcing governors to maintain the lockdown conditions in place even longer, according to Gov Gretchen Whitmer, who's state of Michigan has been the site of such protests.

Aside from the 25th Amendment, if anyone loses their life following Trump's deadly advice, the loved ones they leave behind should organize a class action suit against the president.

We're about to see that, when it comes to loosening the extreme lockdown conditions gripping the United States as a result of the novel coronavirus outbreak, that there's a right way to do things and a wrong way. We can only hope and pray that the wrong way doesn't end in tragic results.
